Beached Whale

Are you feeling like a beached whale or is it just me?
Here is a list that we all struggle with (In no particular order, all equally annoying):
Getting out of bed
Needing the toilet 20x a day because baby is sitting on your bladder.
Bending over e.g painting toe nails- just don’t bother.
Reaching things high up
Catching illnesses from anyone who’s sick
Feeling breathless
And many many more!
I’ve started to pamper myself because overall you do start to feel low in yourself, your self esteem starts to drop and you become self conscious. So i figured if I was to pamper myself, it might make me feel better! Please enjoy below picture of me doing just this.

I’ve now come to the conclusion that actually, I can’t do a lot anymore. No more going out, no more partying, no more staying up late, no more gym. I started to reverse the spectrum and think about what old people do, because obviously that’s what I am now starting become and I can barely move.
So I joined a pregnancy yoga class, I went once, it was fun, I haven’t been to one since.
I started knitting but then realised I can’t sit still for more than 10 minutes due to urinating and restless leg syndrome. See below for the baby blanket I have made.

I don’t intend on finishing it.
Even though feeling like a beached whale has now become quite natural, there’s many things that i look forward to every day. Feeling my little princess wriggling, knowing I’ve got another human inside me, depending on me.
There’s also what it does to your relationship with your partner. It bonds you both together in such a way that it changes your love on a scale from 10 to 1000.
If you’re a single mummy to be, from my friends and family members I have learnt that they have become stronger and more independant and grow to be such beautiful mummys. Good luck angels!
